how to bypass the win11 tpm requirement

Linux.

Yup! Take it a step further and use a linux-libre distro. Throw a middle finger to any and all closed-source.

I wish I could go completely open source. But I enjoy gaming too much

You can always dual-boot. If you have an SSD, it takes a minute to reboot if you want to switch between gaming and anything else

Stupid fucking article never actually spells out what TPM stands for. (it's 'Trusted Platform Module', aka some bullshit microsoft crap, to save others searching)

TPM is literally just a chip for storing crypto keys, I haven't seen any practical use of it beyond facilitating full disk encryption without a password, which is useless if someone already has access to your whole computer, they're not just going to yank your HDD out, they'll just take the whole computer if someone wants to steal your data.
