This reminds me of WebKit all over again before the common fool was riding Google's dick against MS. Mozilla has been siding with Google to screw over MS for several years now. And now Mozilla is loosing relevancy while MS & Google will still be around years from now.
Only this time its FOSS Chromium and MS has been a part of that group for years now.
So at least future versions of Edge will support Web Torrents and .APNG.
I was really hoping MS would get support for JPEG XR added to Chromium so we have format choices besides .WebP. At this point I'm pretty sure AVIF is going to make all of that moot. :/
