EL paint on a car is a stupid idea. The phosphors and binders used will break down quickly in the weather and the thin film electrodes that are needed to excite the phosphors will oxidize and turn nonconductive in less than a year. The "paint" will also start to look splotchy and patches will stop lighting altogether as the phosphors and electrodes disintegrate. It's an expensive and short lived way to show off how narcissistic and vapid you are. Only niggers would think this is worth doing.

Especially in the south such as here in FL where the sun is brutal

I can see high end boat manufacturers down here using this as a novelty at first while the technology improves .

I’m guessing concert/sports/public transportation venues would be first to use this on a large scale basis..

That being said... I bet this has been used I the military for years and years...
