Good lord dude, I was sincerely thanking you for sharing that information. I never used telegram, but knowing now how it's compromised, I never will. And like you, I'll advise other people not to use it. Damn, is everyone in the world now so jaded that you can't express thank's for sharing relevant information that might keep people safe? I've been on this site long enough to prove my character and my stand on things. I won't leave any more comments on your posts. My intentions were good, and I'm always grateful for the information that is shared on this site.

Yes goyim don't use the encrypted end to end communicaiton app developed by russians. Please use our israeli backed platform ((youtube)) or ((facebook)) or ((twitter))... Telegram is end to end encrypted for Chats only. Otherwise its not end to end encrypted when subscribing to public channels. XMPP has been around for too long. If there are vulnerabilities in it the ((government)) has already found and is exploiting them.

Sure I watched it all the way to the end. Seems like the guy wants you to use matrix or xmpp. Probably for a reason. He spent more time saying why xmpp and matrix is great as compared to telling us why telegram is bad. LoL. His only reason is that Telegram isn't truly end to end encrypted. Its just encrypted to the server. All that I fucking care about is that it is encrypted when it goes over the internet and can't be read. I am not sure if they are using diffie-helman or what algorithm they are using but if they developed their own proprietary protocol then there's a good chance the government hasn't broken it .... yet. On the other hand if they are just using certificate based https for xmpp or matrix then theres already vulnerabilities that the government can get past that.

All platforms have their ups and downs. One point where Telegram suck compared to the mentioned alternatives is the phone number requirement.

The absolute state of spam bots on public text chat is another point where Telegram sucks.

The unorthodox design philosophy (maybe it's a Russian thing?) is confusing. The lack of a unified feed sucks. Etc. etc.

It's not: Telegram can read your messages because when you send a message it is de-encrypted to telegram and then re-encrypted to whom you sent the message. It can have end-to-end for only mobile and one device at a time. So if you have multiple phones or the desktop version, that isn't end-to-end encrypted. He also mentions Telegram isn't open-source and it's centralized.

Besides Element and the other thing Luke mentioned, I'm unsure. I've heard of Signal, WhatsApp, Tox, and Wire, but I never used them or looked too much into them. Maybe one of them could helpful.
