Good. Hopefully more people start producing mechanical products again.

Maybe some day we'll have reliable washing machines again.

. Keeps them busy and out of trouble.

I have a Speed Queen washer and dryer set. They're both mechanical. I think they were the last manufacturer out there without the full-blown digital controls but I think even they switched over in the last couple years.

Unfortunately they added digital shit in the last few years. Pretty sad.

Glad I got a fully mechanical set like yourself.

I want a car with the minimum mechanical equipment to be able to get on the highway. I really don’t care even if I have to manually roll down windows. I just want to be able to fix up my own car without being an electrical engineer.

Nobody wants half the tech in cars to begin with. Too many gadgets takes away from driving and probably causes accidents.

First thing i do every time before driving is turn as much of that crap off as possible. Lane avoidance warning or tugging steering wheel every time you get near a white line or round-a-bout, auto brake each time someone overtakes a little close, worn out brakes because the computer doesnt like my driving style and constantly uses them to correct it……. This crap will not absolutely save you, relying on it gives a false sense of safety. Learn how to drive properly.

Can't ditch the secondary GPS that tracks you, or cell circuit that can phone home 24 hours a day.

Load termination needs to become common on the antenna in port. You unscrew the antenna on the receiver and put a dummy antenna load on it. No more antenna. It thinks it's outside the service area. No GPS. No internal cell. No service lights.

GOOD...modern cars are loaded with sensors that wear out and cause unnecessary mental and financial strain. The only features cars need are radio, ashtray, and cupholder.

Is the ashtray for the jews?

as if jews were ever actually incinerated

No one wants electronic festooned vehicles because look how that went for Cadillac

The new F-150 has $25,000 worth of sensors, lol...all those gimmicks will eventually fail. The average O2 sensor costs 200-300 bucks.

the world will be a different place when a single IC can have built in usb and hdmi and bluetooth and be built layer by layer into a tiny little cube.

when this can be done at home the computer war will be over.

a technology that could do this would certainly get a person hunted.

So people can work on their own cars again?

About fucking time.

Surely prices will drop as a result?
Ahahaha no
