Yup. Use a windows based platform which comes with the sleep of updates and crapware that windows forces onto an underpowered lawn mower engine, or use a heavily modified Linux distro that auto updates, offers 80% of the functionality of a computer, never gets viruses or malware, and is literally a 2 button fix if something should ever go wrong. The choice is pretty damn obvious
