which is fucking annoying when your preferred password is one letter longer than they permit. What are they trying to do, save on hard drive space?

people should used random unrelated words that are easy to remember, like 'niggerjewkikeshill'

Password complexity rules greatly decrease my password security, that's for sure. Left to my own devices I'd use a 17 digit alphanumeric string that I can easily remember despite it being complete gibberish and effectovely unbrute-forcible.

But with arbitrary complexity rules...it's too long and ermagerd no capital letters? Not allowed! And it needs to change frequently, so now I have to rotate through bad passwords in the vein of Password1, Password2, rinse and repeat and sticky note...

this has never been effective. people never want to make fully unique profiles when they are forced to do so routinely. they just want to make something else similar so it's easier to remember, of course. you can always use enpass or something similar if you want truly unique and impossible to guess passwords

Have you ever tried to block an email or receive an email that you've marked as not spam in Outlook? The block simply doesn't work, and every morning I have to check my spam folder for another white listed contacts email. It's 100% garbage.
