And all of the smaller manufacturers that don't have their own fabs, everyone is going to suffer. The SBC market is already talking about what's going to happen when companies like Mediatek can't make deliveries.

Realtek is a common brand of device used in audio and network devices, so if you've had a laptop or other bluetooth/network connected device in the last 20 years, chances are it had some Realtek stuff in it.

This is a symptom of a wider problem. As semiconductor fabrication houses get overwhelmed by demand (many companies don't make their own silicon, they just design and have a specialty manufacturer make it) this problem will extend to other brands of chips and possibly to all silicon devices themselves.
