This seems obvious to me.

Facebook's algorithms are working to provide jobs to all groups of workers, of which blue collar likely make up the majority, or at least many, many, millions, if not billions of users.

Blue collar jobs are far more likely to be held by specific genders. If you're advertising for nurses you would find a far better return on advertising investment by advertising to young and middle aged, adult women, then by advertising to men. More women are nurses then men. The same is true for roofers for men. You don't advertise in a woman's Facebook group to look for roofers. You advertise to men. Younger men.

Linked In does not have this issue because it's platform is mainly for the white collar user and white collar jobs are held by both men and women.
