I think a lot could have been saved using vanilla aosp and helping devs produce the software for them.
How much do these companies waste with trying to make their own fork of aosp, custom apps, infrastructure for those apps, lawyers and agreements for things like payment processing, etc?
LG's camera hardware sucked ass, even in their flagship phones.
I don't doubt that. I'm just sick of companies thinking that the US is india, and that the customers need to be told what they want. There is no end to feedback to these companies about their shortcomings, but they "know better" and don't adjust to them.
If the cameras were shit then maybe they should have acknowledged this and contracted with another company for imaging (LG isn't really an imaging company from what i know) to make their phones better without trouble.
Absolutely. Whenever you read something claiming a product or brand failed due to poor advertising, what you're really reading is that they failed to hoodwink enough people.
