quite a few mouse brands, including some gaming mice, are using the Omron 50m micro-switches and they are JUNK!
usually it's easy to avoid them because manufactures are all to eager to advertise that their switches have a lifespan of 50 million clicks ... yes, that's equivalent to 8.333 holocausts if you were wondering ... in reality you're lucky if they last a few months
if you have one of these gems, is cheap and easy as long as you can solder
