All I'm looking for is a GTX 1660 (I would also take a 1060) for my nephew and I'm seeing prices in the $800 range. When OP is running a GTX 460 like I am, then maybe he can talk.
Someone's them. I just can't find one for MSRP anywhere right now.
Even if miners didn't exist there would still be a shortage and gamers who get pissed about miners are faggots who need to grow up anyway
I don't remember ever having a problem buying a GPU in pre-bitcoin days?
When you can't even buy the two previous generation cards then there is a problem, I'm still sitting here with a GTX750ti
I'll sell you a 1080 for 300
Silly. They're going for close to $1K used right now.
Given that a 3060 is supposed to retail around $300, I think I just wait. Would you take $200?
Oy vey, little Schlomo is starving! $240
Seriously? I bought a pre-built computer for the living-room, last year, with a 1660 in it for like, $1000 total. Maybe it might be worth it to buy pre-builts, salvage the cards, and re-sell the superfluous parts.
The pre-built still have access to good cards. I've seen complete Dell gaming rigs with something like a RTX 3080 for cheaper than a good quality RTX 3080 sells for by itself right now. For now, it's still worth waiting. I can't believe they are going to stay this pricey too much longer.
Pre builts are already gone.
