I can successfully unlock the bootloader of my pixel.

I have ADB / fastboot working. I understand the CLI. I "know" what to do but I get retarded errors constantly when I actually try to flash.

I eventually tried to flash GrapheneOS as it seemed retard level easy, but I keep getting an error that my ADB tools were out of date and to update them. Except I have the most recent version.

Correct. The fucking Anticlutch nigger cant do something every 4th grade kid seems to be able to achieve.

TL/DR : 25% chance the WRONG copy of adb.exe is being invoked, not his fresh copy.

I know this is not what you want to hear, but check your adb tools again to be 100% sure. I failed for three days the first time I tried to install LineageOS before I finally found the problem, and it was an out of date adb.

If that turns out good to go and you still have issues, feel free to contact me. I've run LineageOS on other devices, and have run DU and Graphene both on my current. Not an expert at all, but I've done my fair share of troubleshooting to get those to work.

I've locked and factory reset the phone 3 times and nothing works.

I honestly have no clue what to do.

When factory reset, does it become functional?

It never loses functionality. I'm not soft bricking it. I can never get to the point to even make that mistake.

I flashed my pixel with graphene and it took quite a while with many hurdles however there are some good tutorials online. Every time i ran into a problem just searched on how to fix that specific issue and eventually wore them all down and it worked.

Are you invoking ADB from its install directory or via command line from a different location? If the latter, check your PATH environment variable (assuming Windows) and make sure it's really pointing to the correct latest version of ADB rather than an old version somewhere else.

I'm doing ADB from the folder. Shift + right click -> Open Command Window Here.

Doing a cursory search I found that the out of date error you're getting is pretty common.

Basically just redirects older adb versions from phone sync setups to whatever your newer SDK version is.

And despite what the fags giving you shit were saying, this is not intuitive or obvious at all:

"Every time you connect your phone to a USB port, the sync application will try to start its own version of adb.exe interfering with your one."

Well, shit. This is not something I've tried, at all... but it does sound interesting.

So I poked around a little. You probably already know , but it looks helpful, so having it saved here might come in handy at some point somehow if I want to try similar niggotry...

I can unlock the bootloader easily as I said. It's the next step that's failing.

I haven't attempted this because I know I would brick the phone somehow. Rather have someone do it that knows wtf they're doing.
