Apple M1 new cheap computers already do this, and do it far far faster.

Apple M1 achieves its speed by using the fastest DDR4 ram in the world, and as Linus pointed out the new 2021 machines not from Apple all go only 3200 clock rate, while The M1 uses 4266 MT/s LPDDR4X SDRAM in a unified memory configuration!

4266 vs 3200 on all offerings in 2021 to come out from Intel, AMD, and even nvidia.

How did apple do it? Easy... apple got rid of sockets, and even got rid of memory controllers! Apple m1 machines are all closely integrated in one tiny little area.

If you write a math benchmark that cannot be ever done in parallel in any way, Apple's M1 has the fastest benchmarks of all computers you can buy on one core, as long as liquid nitrogen cooling not used.

For the past three months Apple m1 computers have the worlds fastest single core benchmark, when running pure linear non-parallel code!

Apple m1 has twice the address decoders and twice the integer units on one core than any intel.

New Intel coming out soon are avoiding 10nm and going BACK to 14nm!!! Meanwhile Apple uses only 5nm!

5 nanometer gates!

Cheap macs are so fast because of 5nm and because of worlds fastest ram in a desktop or laptop.

People are finding cheap desktops with the memory in clusters directly on the mobo. The CPU is the only removable part. It offers better performance and its cheaper to make.

Meanwhile Apple users were showing how the newer iPhones do better encoding jobs than the Intel Macbooks.

Now looking AMD's CPUs with an on die IGP and the outcome explains perfectly why Nvidia bought ARM. Because of what AMD & Apple are archiving with their new SOC designs and better fabrication processes.

Intel is going to be hurting for the next few years and it couldn't happen to a nicer asshole company.
