i like the part where they tried to force android users to use that instead of the bog standard sms function that does exactly the same thing but doesnt go via googles servers and instead goes end to end to a mobile phone.

can't use or miss anything you don't have. never had any social media on my phone. nor any banking app either. i had facebook on my computer but deactivated and removed it after a few months and never missed it. that was 12 years ago. best moves i ever made.

ditto but Ive never joined fb. I also never download apps. I use a phone as a phone not an entertainment/distractin device. I live on Fraser Island. Nothing more infuriating than seeing people walk along the beach each morning staring at their phones with headphones on. Meanwhile, the most scenic experience goes unnoticed.
