I was looking through old computer magazines from '08, things were much more exciting back then and was even more exciting ten years before that in the 90s.
Now it's just all the same.
Absolutely. I used to love getting the latest computer magazines back in the 90s to see all the awesome new developments in hardware and software. Computer Shopper magazine was a treasure trove of exciting new hardware that made for a lot of amazing build possibilities. I was an uber hardware junkie back then and it was a magical time. Now everything is so boring. It's hard to get excited about a new $1000 video card or a larger capacity SSD. I'm just so bored with the lack of innovation and mediocrity in modern computers. RGB LEDs all over everything just doesn't get me excited.
