beta testers are saying this is 3 times faster than the others and at half teh price. If you live out in the woods this is the best option
I don't live in the woods and I'm tempted to sign up. My concern is with the stated "periodic" loss of service.
The periodic dropout is only while they're building out the satellite network. Once enough are in orbit, the service will be continuous. Those further North (or South) of the equator get better service right now due to the way orbits work. That better service will drift closer to the equator as the satellite count increases.
I assumed that was the case but since I work remotely I need reliable service.
Average of 100mbs, for 100$. Not super price competitive, but it's not competing on price, but availability for decent speeds
