Well youre not wrong. The issue here is it will be applied to everything and they will tell people "Its not us who verified this. It was you guys."

Both washing themself of blame for the media manipulation and relying on the trust towards the public hoard instead of themselves to claim things are authentic. All while manipulating it all. That of course being the point.
