Internet was designed as a system capable of surviving nuclear strikes all over the planet.

It is certainly resilient enough to bypass the monopolies of a few self-entitled technological "gods".

Google already threatens to de-list websites from their search. Before that they'll suppress the site so they can feel the pain of the knife going in before Google twists the blade.

This is part of the reason some of us tell everyone to de-Google their lives.

Yep. De-google, de-facebook, de-twitter...

These fucks are forcing their filthy dominance upon us, not even understanding that all that backs their ability to do so is their monopoly. Which is temporary and situational - despite them feeling it to be a pillar of the universe.

And old good capitalist competition can - and will - destroy that state of affairs the faster, the harder they are on the customers.

"Good against chaotic disruption" is utterly irrelevant to "resistant to control".

All they really have to do, is make certain uses illegal, and start jailing/disappearing a tiny percentage of random people. Every free site on Earth will vanish.
