I do listen to streaming sometimes, I have Radio Caroline on tonight. They have ads, but they aren't terribly intrusive like some terrestrial stations are. Some of the local radio stations have more ads than program now.

it's broadcast, all they know is you were tuned into it. use a vpn, and don't listen to corporate radio. most of the ones i have in my radio desktop widget are weird independent stuff. anyway, my point is that there are still lots of non-data-sucking options out there. use 'em!
