This may be obvious for most. Use a VPN, AdBlock Plus, etc, but thought I'd share for those who don't know how else they can be tracked. In short best thing is to disable Javascript. Combined with other blockers and VPN and you reduce your fingerprint quite a bit.

Unfortunately, modern browsers leak fingerprints faster than a user can patch them. For example, you can fingerprint a browser with just CSS: https://github.com/jbtronics/CrookedStyleSheets

Or even track the movement of the cursor with no javascript: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/researcher-finds-css-only-method-to-track-mouse-movements/

Even if you manage to stay up to date with all techniques known to advertisers and tweak your browser accordingly, you'll end up breaking most sites that would use this kind of tracking to begin with.

Having said that, it's still nice to be aware of this, and take measures to make their jobs harder.
