The official reason KFC changed their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken in 1991? The KFC team wanted to shorten their name! They’re one of many restaurants that have changed their name over the years.

Back then, Kentucky Fried Chicken was a good name as American products and companies meant quality. Even a fast food business selling garbage fast food was considered good on the merit of being American. Of course, now all this has changed as everything is made in Asia and soon American products will be BLM certified.

There have been older articles that KFC has long planned to do away with meat and go with artificial substitutes hence the change of name. These articles even a few years back were considered science fiction and now it's close to becoming reality.

Look up white monkey jobs. China literally employs whites to be the face of products exactly because the Chinese market assumes they don't sell Chinese shit lol.
