Does anybody know what the theoretical/technical risks are of doing this? Manufacturer recommends 128gb max, but this seems to work well for storage (not as main drive, just as storage on secondary card slot) | Will a 256GB or 512GB micro SD card work for games on the RG350 or Pocket Go v2?

Yeah I know, fat32 "works everywhere"

On the flip side it's "unreliable", prone to data wreckage precisely because it's dead simple / not "feature rich", no data protection no journalization no nothing, and it comes with size limitation of course

Yeah, it's really outlived it's usefulness as sizes have increased.
