No idea. There are a lot of MVNOs that use T-Mobile service. I imagine for a while, nothing will change. It's not really the towers, it's the service itself. Many carriers share towers because the towers are typically owned by a shell company.

My understanding is everybody is using the same towers. There aren’t Verizon towers or Sprint towers like with 3G and older.

That's true to a good extent. Other companies own the towers and then they lease space to the carriers. Crown Castle was one such tower owner that had a lot of what T-Mobile had their antennae on.
