I've been noticing camera phones have been getting much better in recent years.
Indeed they have, especially thanks to improved hardware.
But I wonder how come the framerates have not improved quickly since 2013 despite the chipset performances skyrocketed.
The Note 3 of 2013 brought 2160p@30fps and 1080p@60fps, which was improved for the first time on the Galaxy S9 (2160p@60fps, 1080o@120fps). 4.5 years later!
I've seen over the years people making fun of those types that buy a new cell phone each time or asking what's even the reason to buy a new cell phone each time (get the new... "2" "3" "4" ----- "8" "9" "10"). I just want something that works to make calls and text for the most part and a cheap plan / cheaper plan. I kind of want to go down to a pay as you go plan that charges by the minute or text for the most part. Get down to $10 or $15 a month when it comes to a phone bill. I'm at $35 or so right now. I'm checked out on phones for the most part myself. I checked out on phones I want to say 5 years ago or so though.
