I get what they mean, but this is sloppy. It sounds like they don't care about individual rights at all.

They don't. Libertarians want freedom for individuals to act on their own accord, not justice for the individual. Justice for the individual is a nonsensical concept, as justice for an individual must be sought for oneself based on their own circumstances rather than delivered by an authority. Torba making such a statement demonstrates an ignorant collectivist perspective. He is capitulating to a purity spiral from the Qtards, who believe true freedom can only come from order. They are far closer to SJWs due an overlapping "equality of dignity" concept. You can observe these puritans and SJWs make the same fallacies and emotional appeals to take greater control, just for different things.

lol

Fools

How can they be so blind?

"True freedom", as in what? As in freedom to mow the lawn at the reglementary height?

Freedom to do as thou commands. Their idea of freedom is really stability and protectionism (of imposing the paytriot racket). Chaos is scary so the sheep clutch onto the blindfolds of a supposed faceless bureaucrat who tells them to sit back and trust that the government will save the government from the government.
