This is the correct answer.
That's what I told the [possibly literally] retarded salesman last time I bought a new car from a dealer. Man, I might ordinarily disqualify a dealer for hiring retards, but at least he was polite and helpful, and that' considerably more [nice positive things] than I could say about any of the other Fiat dealerships within a 50 mile radius.
Why I thought I wanted a Fiat is somewhat beyond me now, but I did have a lot of fun with the thing, but it ate transmissions the way some cars consume oil, and when it needed it's third rebuild, I just dumped it and got something else...
But I digress, as per tradition.
Fiat I've heard they are actually like driving a go kart(most of them are tiny from what I've seen.) So I could see how they might be fun and handle pretty well. My favorite manual I've owned had to be either my 2000 328i or my 92 Acura Legend(six speed with the NSX motor) Hard to choose. Dual mast flywheel fucked me over on the Legend and the wife totaled the BMW. Now I still have a stick but its a Deawoo.
Spot on. More power could be nice, but it was fun as heck, and the suspension was considerably better than I'd expected. It's handling when I terrified the salesman on the test drive totally sold the thing, AND I could get 40ish MPG [if I drove super slowly which I obviously hardly ever did!!]!
My favourite was probably my Y2k Toyota Mr2 Spyder, but the Miata was also fun. I have a big fat Acura Tl type S that has the NSX motor too! It's kind of dumb being front wheel drive and super heavy, but the wife likes to drive it. I like my Benzes these days because I guess I'm getting old or something.
Holy fart, a Daewoo though, really?! I have not seen a functional one of those in years! And speaking of cheap asian cars, I really liked my hyundai accent [we called the 'accident] - it got better than 40mph, had no power to speak of, but handled pretty well AND I could carry motorcycles in the back of it! With extreme difficulty, but I still did it!
