So, Tesla is suign the cheapest solid state storage they can, eMMC. They need to switch to the more costly but ten times longer lasting SLC SSD's, and with a much larger storage capacity so dying cell data can be moved to a fresher one. This is stupid planning at its finest, just to save ten bucks.
