They make up almost 45% of the plastic in the ocean. Plastic straws 0.025% of ocean waste.

Ikr, the entire straw charade is as comically depressing as man-made carbon dioxide responsible for only 0.1-0.2% of the 0.04% global atmospheric carbon dioxide but is a 'not insignificant driver for climate change'.
