I know plenty of white dudes with cars of various states of functioning strewn across their front yards. That's not a Mexican thing, that's a man thing, just like your old man has a box of completely useless cables.

Sounds like you've never had a project car before. I've had cars sit for years because I had to save up for parts, waiting lists for work on the cylinder heads, other projects, shit happens man. My bedroom is half filled with car parts because I don't have room for them elsewhere, and I have my own shop.

I think you can have a project car without trashing up your property and making an eyesore for the neighborhood, no?

And no, I wouldn’t fill any of the rooms in my house with car parts strewn about. I have a garage for that.

I’m just a meat and tidy type person. I know we all aren’t. My brother sounds like you. His house is a mess, inside and out. I still love him but I wouldn’t want his house near mine.
