"Putting all of your eggs in one basket, and letting someone else hold lt."
I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming years "research" shows propane is bad for the environment. They really want a tight grip on your energy usage. It started with those "smart meters" on your electrical box years ago.
A century ago they moved people off the land, ended the homesteading program, induced migration into city clusters and then because of proximity issues removed the right to burn and gather wood without special permits.
Electrical is also digital, and ties in with the surveillance state and the social credit score systems. The push for all (only) electrical public energy access is a parellel process to the cashless digital currency/NFT bullshit /endrant

I completely agree. Even if electric vehicles were economical, didn't cause immense environmental harm (mining and disposal of battery elements), and could fill every need an ICE vehicle could, the reliance on someone else to provide you electricity gives up fundamental autonomy that all citizens should demand and cherish.

edit: why'd this go in /s/shitpost?

I use shitpost when I'm just rambling with no sources.
