I used to do the same thing. Finally broke the cycle. I still have a drink occasionally, but I don’t think about it excessively like I used to and definitely don’t “reward” myself with alcohol anymore. It’s a much better place if you can get there. Good luck.

That is too much. Once in that routine it's hard to not have something to drink. Be careful though...Warning!!!.....If you have been drinking that much you can't just quit cold turkey, that can be deadly. You have to ween your body off of it. One or two then quit for the night. If you get the shakes you must have a drink...and stop at one or two. Eventually you can skip a day without the shakes then a drink the next and start skipping more days. Good luck fren
Im one of those weird people. I can quit anything without any side affects.or effects, whatever. I quit meth before it was popular. We called it crystal back then
