Some company (electricity provider) charged someone $11k during a major snowstorm because of "surge pricing".

When I move I am going to have a minimum of 3 ways to generate my own power and will be trying to run off it as often as possible. Can you imagine getting a fucking $11k power bill because you don't want to freeze to death?

They will try. I refuse to have less than 3 methods of heating. They really won't like me burning wood... Maybe I should be saying by THEIR cold dead hands...

Then he is a unprepared amateur. Can't get the needed numbers with just 12. Hell, why have ovens at all. A backhoe is cheaper and faster. They want you to eat the bugs, maybe the bugs should be eating them.
