You know. I know a guy that was trying to be very Christian to help someone a long time ago. He didn't have much money and he was going to get this person some basic stuff "cook it yourself".

You know, thinks we already talked about. "Raw" beans, non-name brand stuff.. etc. Well. This person gave my friend a "list" of things they wanted..... Nope. Sorry, not sorry.

The list was full of stupid shit that was name brand, pre-made, included the obvious "soda/pop" that you don't need to live.

This was probably 20 years ago. That is when I stopped to "donating to anywhere because it's a good thing to do". I only help people directly now and ones that actually need it. Sometimes you feel bad but I have gotten over it.

When I was a college student working 2 part time jobs, I was buying food and was in line behind a welfare queen. She paid for steaks with food stamps. I was furious that some lazy slob with no job was eating better than I was and I was working my ass off. I’m still angry, and it’s only gotten worse as I learned more truth.
