About the only hope there is would be that the two lawyers on the jury are not TDS retards, because anyone with even a sniff of how the legal system works can see that this case is just fucked. If he is convicted, it would 100% be overturned on appeal. But all the Dems want is that initial conviction, so they're willing to mutilate the legal system to get there by any means. If that means telling the jurors that they don't need to be unanimous on the underlying predicate offence (i.e. they can all just pick whatever they want) then so be it. Merchant has written the jury instructions to make acquittal extremely difficult, it's basically an instruction manual of conviction. He has also refused to supply the jury with a copy of the instructions, so they can only use what they understand when he reads the instructions to them. This is, as far as I can tell, unprecedented. The jury instructions always go with the jury so they may refer to them as they deliberate.
