They MADE spam to last a long time. It was a military contract. Is it the best thing for you? No. But starving is a lot worse. And if your in a situation that you need prep supplies, that spam is gonna be a rib eye steak to you.

I agree, have some freeze dried meats and stuff but spam is easy and cheap. It just depends on your income what you get.
