on Firefox he could have shown to her the right click on tab, go to close multiple tabs, then choose close all other tabs. Then click history, clear recent history, choose everything for the period of history to be erased. Simple and with that many tabs about 5 minutes waiting if it doesn't crash or freeze her phone.
