I've been to enough gatherings with young people and I'm shocked by how the men act and interact with women. Sad.
I'm shocked by how the men act and interact with women
I'm curious about this. Can you give details about what they're fucking up?
Sure, the men were wearing baby on them. The wives were telling their husbands what to do in public: what they were allowed to drink or eat. It was embarrassing for me to watch. The look on the men's faces told a story of humiliation. Men have been taught not to be toxic. Women get a total pass. If it had been only one man, I probably wouldn't have noticed.
The key here is this was a public space. I understand that at home, men are expected to share looking after baby and that wives demand a lot. If the wife is smart, she understands the psychology and how far she can push. My wife knows my limit. I know hers. In public, she's smart. Even she made a similar comment about the men. It wasn't just me.
Ah, ok. I thought you meant something about young men having terrible flirting skills.
But you're talking about married dudes whose wives walk all over them.
Deep down the women probably don't like it either even if they'd never admit it aloud.
