I disagree w/ this whole accidents happen nonsense of this shit article. Gun ownership requires responsibility, the fact that rifle was pointed in any direction w/ the potential of human targets on the other sides of walls etc is unacceptable. Guns are extremely safe when you understand the operation/function of one you own. Had he been using it in self defense at the time I'd be more understanding and understand the 1-5 years.
