A Race is the legacy of children you leave behind. Best to preserve is not the consistency of your childrens genes to their parents, but the prosperity and happiness of your descendants. This is consistent with the older definition of "race"

I myself am 25% native american, so you might have the wrong idea about my ideas.

Edit: I'll add to this that I had my own issues with racial identity growing up. I understand what problems that can have. I did not honestly choose my spouse based on race or anything but from what I can tell destiny. However I feel for those who didn't have it as easy as I did in choosing a spouse.

You raise a fair point, and I definitely think you need to be careful marrying outside your culture. Making sure you agree on important issues related to marriage, children, religion is probably a good start. But you would understand this much better than myself. I understand there are some practical problems with mixing, but my original post was meant to say that it is not morally wrong or some kind of evil in itself. Though I realize it does come with more risks.

What I meant to say is that you don't seem to be part of the newer ideological Identitarianism. Using the word "conservative" was probably wrong, I meant something closer to common sense.

I believe that people are of mixed race have problems identifying with either of the parent races, because that was my experience and I've seen it happen a lot in other people.

I am primarily white, Caucasian whatever you want to call it. However I've got slightly darker skin and several other traits that are clearly not European. I'm not complaining. I don't sun burn ever, my wife does I do not envy her on that one. My kids are all blond haired blue eyed kids that carry almost none of my native American traits and I'm okay with that. It'll serve them well they won't have to deal with the questions I did growing up.

There was a situation where I went to a high school that had redskins as a mascot, well an activist had a problem with it and so it had to be changed and because of my heritage apparently I needed to have a say and honestly I didn't care at all not even a little. I thought asking me was stupid. However I had to stand up and say something about it because I was part native American and my answer was its not offensive I don't care. I got ran out of the fucking school. So race mixing problem isn't the problem according to the left, ignoring race is.
