I had a buddy who was mixed and he was a good looking guy. Paternal line was White and you could tell, I do think that matters. I had some pretty personal conversations with him and it's not easy on them, it really fucks with your sense of identity. Most people just considered him black and he claimed that side more, but I've heard some of the shit his black relatives would say to him and he didn't have it easy. Basically nobody fully accepts you as being like they are, you're "the other" to everyone.
