Digital technology is a trap. It enables tyrants all over the world to enslave us willingly. We don't need an embedded microchip, we willingly allow Alexa and Google into our homes, Apple, Samsung, Visa and Mastercard on us 24/7. Our cars spy on us too.

By going back to an analog world, we make tyranny much more difficult. Actual people need to come and find us. They can't simply coerce us remotely.

Cash: we need to stop using NFC contactless payments. Go back to using cash. Right now, every time you use some form of electronic payment system, you're giving up your privacy. Yea, Klaus says you'll like it, I understand.

Cars: go back to vintage 1970s or even 1980s vehicles. They don't send telemetry about where you are.

Ham radio: when the complex cell infrastructure goes down, we need to go back to old fashioned analog radio. No infrastructure required here.

Food: raise chickens, ducks, rabbits and cows. You don't need acres of land and you're free of the toxic poisons they infect our food with.

If we're going to create a new Amish-like movement what technology level should we set as the limit? Seems the first integrated circuit was developed 1959 (en.m.wikipedia.org).

I wouldn't impose a technology limit at all. I have no problem with technology as such, only technology that tracks and identifies you. For example, vehicles with telemetry. I'm perfectly fine using CPUs to help engines work better. I'm not fine allowing third parties to be able to track and/or disable my vehicle. Also, vehicles using computer boards that are required to keep the car working are dangerous because they become easily obsolete and non repairable. If a mechanical part breaks, they can easily be made. Software isn't easy to recreate unless you happen to have the source code.

I'm not about stopping technology, I'm about preventing dangerous situations where you have no clue what's in the software and how it's being used. If a vehicle is sold to someone, you should be able to analyze the software, if you choose to. Let's take a glimpse at Tesla. People are ignorant of the encompassing danger of allowing Elon's engineers to self drive their cars. And on and on. I prefer direct mechanical drive mechanisms, drive by wire is also dangerous, in my opinion.

The use or disuse of certain technology might be an interesting topic, but IMHO it is not a key element to survival in a hybrid war.
