Agreed. Meat birds were ready in 8-9 weeks. We moved them 2-3 times a day on fresh grass but they still ate a bit of feed. We want to do pigs next. I've butchered one before and it was quite a bit of work and slippery once my knife hand was covered in pig fat. But bacon and ham are pretty good so worth it.
