Check the output for radiation with a hand held rad detector. Radioactive rain is a thing. Fukushima type off gassing leads to radioactive rainfall, (fallout.) You don't want to be drinking that, filtered or otherwise. It's quite lethal. A rad detector picks it up easily if it is there. Normal background rads are 20 to 50. Anything over 100 is very bad news.
