There's a guy who survived the Argentine collapse, he did a blog. I read it with great interest back in 2008. He was very detailed and helpful. I'll have to try to find him.

TL:DR

Bosnia was FUBAR, guy robs local distillery at start of conflict, camps out in his house with his extended family.

Only survived because of constant US Food Drops.

This isnt a SHTF guidebook. With all the lack of any useful details basically the guy did jack shit but lived like a methhead.
