You should always have a decent med kit lying around. Surgical supplies. Medicine. All over the counter stuff. Nyquil. Toiletries like extra shampoo and soap. Antifungal pills.

Also substitutes like chamomile and even better chamomile seeds. A lot of herbs have medicinal properties and they are way to dry and store.

Have a garden. Have a hydroponic garden. You can buy a fish pump and hdx tub from home depot and use the lid as your tray. For like $25 you can make a hydroponic set up. Weed is tradeable but also great for heirloom tomatoes and other herbs and small fruits.

Crossbow and target for practice. Silent killer.

Carton of smokes and/or box of cigars even if you don't smoke.

A rubber dog toy even if you don't have a dog, just in case someone needs to "bite the bullet". A bottle of whisky along with.

Vit C, d and zinc supplements.

I know this is kind of an old post, but in light of all the rumors floating around, we have stocked up on everything, I could think of.

Have a generator, 75 gallons of gas, medicine, 1st aide kit.

We are very fortunate to own a small lake, acreage & a river. So fishing, hunting and water is taken care of.

But what can those in cities do, that have limited space? I have a friend in LA and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas
