What people think socialism is: spending money on public infrastructure and research and development
What is actually happening: spending money on everything but those two causes
>Once you understand what socialism is, you come to realize that 95% of everybody is a socialist. If somebody were facing a serious problem, and if the state had a reasonable and efficient ability to step in and solve that problem, 95% of people would accept help under those circumstances.
actually thinking the collective would offer effective solutions to the public's benefit and is more intelligent than the individual
Reality: state makes retarded investment in public roadway construction instead of using a newer and more efficient technique that causes the path to fall into disrepair within a few months simply because it doesn't want to take the risk and it can scam taxpayers for more money.
You just described why I'm a misanthrope.
And that's the thing, Man. As soon as I figure out somebody is a libertarian, I simply tune them out. I'm being honest.
Ex-Lolbertarian here, and I do the same thing.
I've already heard every libertarian argument, But I can no longer take them seriously.
