In the last ten years or so the Democrats became openly pro-illegal ( or perhaps it's better to say ant-citizen), but tacit support probably existed longer when they noted demographic trends.

When blacks and legal immigrants voted for Trump in decent percentages in 2016 it got bigger but I think it was when Obama made that speech telling them to vote. I think we need ICE officials at voting booths in California and California.
