Just going to say I made a mistake by even posting that comment. I honestly started to make a post about this in the Linux sub. Didn't ignore this. Realized I would have to post more details about my system than I'm actually comfortable doing. Really don't want to start a troubleshoot thread targeting my system. Probably needless fear, I know. Sorry, I'm just going to have to drop it. Lesson learned. Will try to get better at keeping my mouth shut about these things and also not just commenting *whatever* is on my mind at any given time.
