Biden started doing it en masse back in March - and apparently the taliban has regained about 75% of Afghanistan since 2017 - but about half of that number has been within the past 6 months. The MSM is only really reporting about it because the last of the very last troops are leaving - and the taliban are about to take over the US embassy now.
